Ingress Guardian Knuckle
thingiverse
I Built a Toy Out of Recycled Parts Using a Combination of Modern Technology and Old-School Craftsman Skills. When you see a beautifully crafted miniature figurine shaped like the guardian medal, it's easy to forget about its origins. In my case, this intricate model was actually created from raw materials that were later molded into 3D shape. But with so much technology at our disposal today, traditional methods still hold up against innovation. I took an innovative approach by combining 3D printing and computer-controlled machining (CNC) to create a one-of-a-kind piece. After perfecting my prototype using advanced tools and cutting-edge software, I moved on to add some finishing touches that made it truly special – an eco-friendly coaster crafted from carefully cut out MDF boards that serve as both decorative elements and practical accessories for the desk. It was all about blending state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques with simple handcrafting methods to produce something completely unique.
