What's Ingress all about? Ingress is an augmented reality online multiplayer role playing game developed by Niantic Labs, a Google startup, initially for Android devices, and since July 14, 2014 also for Apple's iOS. The game has a complex science fiction background with a continuous open narrative. You can choose from two factions. The Enlightened fight believing their actions will uplift humanity and bring about the next chapter in human evolution. Meanwhile, the Resistance thinks preserving what freedom humanity has left is key. The Resistance are represented by blue and the Enlightened by green.
