Ingocraft Wheel With Holes

Ingocraft Wheel With Holes

The primary wheels within the Ingocraft toy kit possess an inherent issue: they are unable to connect with anything. They rotate impeccably – extremely smoothly – around the well-defined head of a lengthy bolt, yet you cannot control them using any device, nor can you convert their motion into something more practical. The threaded holes on this compact wheel strive to rectify that. This is an ordinary Ingocraft wheel first filled and then hollowed out with threading suitable for Ingo bolts. Instructions were used when printing at 0.2mm resolution on a Prusa i3v manufactured by Makerfarm, devoid of any supports or brim. A standard Ingo bolt was utilized to 'smooth' the threading somewhat post-printing, but this might merely be a peculiarity of my printer.
