The Larson Electronics LEDLB-160X2E-IR LED light bar produces an infrared beam that is only visible through night vision devices and equipment. This IP68 rated light bar features 160 Edison Edixeon® Infrared Emitters containing CREE EZBright® three watt LEDs, producing 180 lumens each. With high purity 10 degree optics, it emits a tightly focused beam up to 2,350 feet long and 450 feet wide while drawing just 480 watts @40 amps from a 12 volt system. Optional floodlight versions offer 35-degree optics for wider coverage. The extruded aluminum housing incorporates an advanced heat radiating fin design to efficiently dissipate heat, increasing LED life and lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours. The LEDLB series can operate on a wide range of voltages (9-42VDC) without modifications, making them ideal for mobile applications. Constructed for extreme durability, these lights are waterproof to three meters, resistant to dust and dirt ingress, and withstand rapid temperature changes (-40°C to 85°C). They're recommended for high-stress environments, high humidity climates, cold areas, rough saltwater conditions, and areas where equipment experiences extreme temperature variations.
