Infogrip Big Track arcade conversion 1/2" control panel
thingiverse
If you have an Infogrip Big Track (trackball), here's a part that allows you to mount it into a 1/2" plywood arcade cabinet control panel. Basically, this replaces the top of the shell so you can install it underneath the control deck as this part and control deck act as the new top of the assembly. First, superglue the pegs into the assembly and secure the top of it into the underside of the control panel (you need a 4" hole in the control panel for this to fit into). 3 pegs have a secondary recess in them to keep the new top fit. You'll see which ones require these special pins when you get it apart Then you'll need an additional set of screws to secure the assembly from the top of the control panel. I used (3) #6 x 1" flat-head wood screws and it's very secure. Then, use the original screws in their original spots on the lower shell and screw them into the new holder assembly. Voila, you have a usb trackball for your arcade machine. Don't forget to put the ball in before you screw the bottom on.
