This is a crucial component that modifies a standard 15 psi gage found readily available at home improvement stores into a precise needle inflator used for inflating footballs, basketballs, and soccer balls. My grandson required an exact gauge for his science project, where he explored how much pressure can be lost due to temperature fluctuations. Unfortunately, we were unable to find a suitable way with off-the-shelf parts to adapt the needle inflator to the gauge, so we devised this solution.
