Infinity PRINT (2579 days long) TEST YOUR MACHINE!
thingiverse
Have you ever wondered if your 3D printer is reliable enough? This print will clearly demonstrate the strength of the printer's construction, reliability, and stability. Some of my .gcode properties are as follows: The object is a 220x220x220mm cube with 100% infill, 100 bottom & top layers, also with 100 walls, and 0.1mm layer height (at 0.001 Cura stopped responding). It will approximately take 3.5km length of 1.75mm filament to finish. After all, it will weigh more than 10kg, so you will need to change at least 10 times spool with material during the print. Finally, after 2597 days, 13 hours and 23 minutes which is 224,428,380 seconds (which is a little more than 7 years) you will be left with a huge solid cube of plastic and certainty that your printer is reliable to 100%! Isn't it worth it? Should I mention that recommended speeds for this project are 1mm/s for everything? The .gcode file for this project weighs 811MB and Thingiverse refused to include it in the Thing page. If you need it, write me at biologia1k@gmail.com. Designed for Creality Ender 3. Sliced in Cura 3.6. This project is a scaled version of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2061818 Portal - Weighted Companion Cube by sBerndt. Disclaimer: I haven't printed it (yet). The project was made just for FUN. If after 7 years you will come to me with a bill for electricity used, filament spools, time, machine failures and whatever you want to include in it additionally and say "give me my money back, your thing is totally useless" (btw it is :) I will laugh at you. Not meant to be printed by everybody. I strongly recommend double rethinking printing this thing. Consider that your bed might not hold 10kg, motors may break, PS failure, overall construction breaks, bends and every other problem found over the internet concerning 3D printers. If you have some smart problems which may happen during such long prints, you are more than welcome to share them in the comments section of this Thing. Happy Printing!!!
