I had to swap out a grill on my '07 I35 and was surprised to discover that the emblem itself cost nearly as much as the entire grill replacement. Determined to save some cash, I decided to fabricate my own replica to replace it. The "tangs" on the rear plate are just wide enough to pass through the mounting slots in the grill assembly.
