Infinity heart
thingiverse
This was a gift I came up with after hours of intense brainstorming. It's an LED infinity mirror heart that still blows my mind. Check out the video of it in action: https://youtu.be/gi1x0VNohWc. The idea started off simple, but I just couldn't resist taking it to the next level. Originally, it was going to be a one-LED strip project, but then I discovered that two strips stacked together allowed for some really cool patterns. From there, I added even more LEDs. Here are the materials you'll need: * Arduino micro * A 12in x 12in two-way mirror (reflective on both sides) * A 12in x 12in standard glass mirror * A 3v DC rumble motor for that heart-pounding vibration effect * A hand-soldered PCB to connect all the components - I added a transistor (2N222 for motor power) to give it an extra boost * Two strips of 60 LED per meter neopixels in RGBW * One small RGBW neopixel for the heart indicator * An IR distance sensor to detect when someone is standing in front of the mirror To assemble everything, you'll need: * Hot glue * Super glue * Double-sided tape * Black paint (to prevent light bleed-through on the two-way mirror) I'd love to hear your feedback or any questions you might have! Enjoy!
