I've taken on a fun project for the 2023 holidays: creating a 3D printed version of Constantin Brâncuși's Endless Column. This piece is famous for symbolizing infinity and life's continuity. My version is a great project for 3D printing enthusiasts. It's pretty straightforward - a base, a pedestal, and a series of rhomboid shapes, topped off with one final rhomboid. For the material, I chose Overture transparent PETG filament. This allows for the addition of LED lights, light bars, or fiber optics inside, which will light up the column and give it a cool, modern twist.Adding some weight like concrete or sand in the plinth can help with stability, ensuring the structure stands firm.I'm excited to see how it turns out and hope others will enjoy making it too.Note: If you're interested in the lighting solution I've implemented, please share the model you've printed, and I'll update my model with the details of my approach. If I don't see any posts, it will indicate low interest in this project, and it may not be worthwhile to elaborate on something that won't be utilized.
