In contrast to traditional horizontal axis turbines, infinite wind tunnel turbines address several limitations. These innovative designs don't require orientation toward the wind and are independent of natural wind speed. Placed atop buildings or in urban areas with constantly changing wind directions, they offer stable power output. Unlike large towers, generators are located on or beneath ground level, simplifying maintenance. The system works by utilizing a constant air flow created through vertical shafts due to altitude difference, similar to a giant chimney. This eliminates the need for expensive high-rise towers and reduces bird and bat fatalities associated with traditional turbines.
