Infinite Torture Cube v2

Infinite Torture Cube v2

V2 of my Infinite Torture Cube is live on Thingiverse! This one's not for the faint-hearted, folks. The clearance between cubes is an incredibly tight 0.1mm. I'm printing this with a humble I3, no high-end machine needed here. To ensure success, print slow and low - reduce your extrusion rate by 3-5% from normal. A test link's included so you can fine-tune your settings before the real deal. One of the most challenging parts to print is the inner mechanism. Make sure the connection link faces upwards and aligns with the hinges' direction. Twist the top sides of the cubes together, then carefully snap off the inner support leg. The pyramid supporting the link from below has a hollow tip. Use a wire cutter to cut it off, then insert the cutter into the hole and twist it to release the pyramid from the link. This will take some finesse, so be patient. Update: Supportless versions are now live on Thingiverse! Have fun testing your print settings.
