Infinite Stairs sand mold
thingiverse
I was inspired by Indian architecture when I decided to create a sand mold for my infinite stairs castle, which I previously designed (entry #929228). This project involves making two molds: one for a pyramid and another for a pair of mirrored stairs that will adorn the pyramid. Both molds must be scalable and proportionate to ensure that the stairs fit perfectly on top of the larger pyramid. I made this design customizable, as explained in the instructions below. Unlike my first infinite stairs castle entry, which was not printable, I aimed to create something feasible with 3D printing technology. Follow-up: My objective is to make the molds scale together proportionally. I'm also working on a mold for a linear extrusion tower that will sit atop the infinite stairs castle. However, designing this mold won't be straightforward because it needs to accommodate the tower's unique shape and position inside the pyramid.
