Infinite Pyramid Construction Puzzle

This is my first creation, so I'm asking for your patience. I recently went on vacation and came across a wooden pyramid puzzle with a very clever design.. The unique aspect was that you could build an infinitely sized pyramid as long as you had enough pieces available. I thought this would be ideal for 3D printing and was confident I'd find the model somewhere. However, after searching high and low it seems there isn't one. So I set out to create my own version.. After a few attempts at getting the angles right, I'm pretty sure I have it sorted. Unfortunately, the original instructions that I sneaked a photo of are not entirely clear so I'm not 100% sure, but my design definitely creates a pyramid and struggles to replicate the other models shown. To build a small pyramid you simply need four "prism" shaped pieces and two of the small pyramids... I hope this helps someone out and would love to see your creations if you can manage to build a big pyramid. Instructions There are two types of pieces in this puzzle.. One is shaped like a pyramid, while the other resembles a prism. To build the smallest pyramid, you need four of the prism pieces and two pyramids.. And lay them out as shown:
