Infinite Puzzle - Koch Snowflakes
thingiverse
As gentle gusts sweep across the landscape, delicate snowflakes pirouette in an enchanting rhythm. Life's path unfolds like this intricate pattern, ever flowing into a promising tomorrow. An eternal riddle combining captivating tessellations with space-filling curves. The curve must remain unified! Tiles come in two styles: one with a smooth surface and another with a curved overlay. The curve is inspired by Mandelbrot's 'snowflake sweep', a self-avoiding path that fills the snowflake, modified to be printable as an overlay. Each curve has two endpoints, allowing it to connect seamlessly with other identical versions. Alternatively, blank tiles can serve as a foundation for diverse patterns instead of the curve, or create empty space within the curve pattern. Blank tiles stand 5 mm tall; the curved overlay begins at 5 mm and measures 1 mm high and 1.2 mm wide. Tiles can be printed using a 0.6 mm nozzle.
