Infill Examples

I crafted these blocks to facilitate students' comprehension of the distinctions between infill percentages. This initiative provides exemplars of strength, weight, and printing time. For comparison's sake, the 10% block took 53 minutes to print, while the 25% block required 1 hour and 32 minutes, and the 50% block necessitated a whopping 2 hours and 13 minutes. Through this project, I gained valuable insights that will undoubtedly benefit future endeavors. Utilizing my Makerbot Replicator + and Makerbot Print software, I ensured precise control over every aspect of the printing process. To enhance visual clarity, I added images illustrating where to adjust infill settings within the program. Notably, it is crucial to modify the roof surface thickness to 0; otherwise, a solid block will be the end result. To make key details more conspicuous, I used gold Rub N Buff to highlight important areas.
