Infill 3D Delta Bot Magnetic Effector
thingiverse
This is a critical test assembly for the Infill 3D delta machine, and I need your expert evaluation to ensure its reliability. This bespoke part is specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with an Infill 3D SunBurn hotend (https://infill3d.com/home/25-sunburn-assembled.html). While it's primarily built to work with this particular model, it should also accommodate other 16mm groove-mounted hotends - provided you verify the precise dimensions before installation. The modified Kossel design of our Infill 3D Delta bot features magnetic joints for an unparalleled level of precision. Six countersunk magnets are crucial for achieving a firm hold; M4 set screws threaded into holes behind these magnets will further amplify their grasp. Simply position them closely but not touching the ball-bearings, and you'll experience an substantial boost in holding force. Our design relies on dual 30mm fans for effective cooling - a significant feature considering its two primary usage scenarios: ABS or PLA. Conveniently located bottom screws secure either ventilation vents to facilitate easy printing of PLA materials or closure covers to accommodate ABS use. Notably, this design doesn't incorporate a probe due to the incorporation of Force-sensing resistors (FSRs) that automatically level the machine for uncompromised performance.
