These components fit the 45" radio controlled Messerschmitt Bf 109 model of my design perfectly. The model was first released as a free digital plan in the September 2016 issue of Model Aviation magazine. This collection includes a pair of exhaust stacks for the Dora variant, an instrument panel, and a spinner that makes the model truly authentic. The spinner is a two-piece assembly designed to be easy to assemble. The nose cone snaps securely into the backing plate, ensuring a strong hold. The OD measures 79mm while the length is 46mm. This spinner works seamlessly with an AXI 2814 motor when paired with the prop-drive adapter. A note of caution: the spinner plate has been improved by adding two thin cylinders to the propeller hub pocket for easier printing. These cylinders make the part more user-friendly, but it's essential to break them out and clean up the pocket area before use. For the spinner component, three files are included in this collection. File Bf109-spinner_v4 includes both the spinner cone and its backing plate. Some users encountered issues printing the two parts separately when they came from a single file. In response, individual files for the spinner and cone have been added. The separate parts are identical to the combined parts found in the single file. Remember to follow the AMA Safety Code when using this part! Propellers and spinners that rotate at high speed are inherently hazardous. Use extreme caution when fabricating and utilizing this part. Use it at your own risk.
