InFiDEL lever arm
prusaprinters

I noticed that the original version of the InFiDEL lever arm would not print properly; this is because there are intersecting faces in the CAD and there are areas which are effectively infinitely thin, causing the slicing program to just ignore it and leave a gap in the part.

This version of the lever arm fixes some of those issues: there is now a 0.5mm thick wall behind the bearing seats and I have attempted to fix some printing issues around the hole for the 3mm pin by reducing the chamfer around the bearing - but this is only a very minor improvement.

It retains the exact same external shape so there are no changes necessary to the other components. The images below show the original component on the left and my modification on the right - there are minimal changes to the solid model, but as you can see once it is sliced at 0.15mm layer height the remix gives you a much more solid print.

Also worthy of note: in addition to the published bill of materials, you will also need an M5 grub screw in order to pre-load the spring.
