Infantry Test Model Lab
thingiverse
I've been diving into blender for a few weeks now, and it's time to share my progress. This collection of 1:100 scale soviet 1941 infantry figures is the result of a lot of learning. Big thanks to Buchnerb and SSBN506 for testing printing and offering advice on those early versions. WARNING!!! I'm not sure if these will print well on FDM printers, so they're best suited for DLP or SLA printers. As this is my first time creating 3D models, any feedback on both the model quality and historical accuracy of their equipment would be super helpful. I'm still figuring out how to make these models more durable without changing their dimensions. Right now, thin details like rifles are pretty fragile. If anyone has a solution, I'd love to hear it. IMPORTANT!!!! I really need some help with test printing these at different scales. The more prints I get, the faster I can share these with you all. Once I feel confident that I have enough models and experience, I'll release an official infantry pack and delete this post.
