The inertial hammock is a device designed for high-G maneuvering supravehicles, featuring autoadaptive body positioning along acceleration/decceleration vectors. The user's position is secured by expansive bracelets with autolocking mechanisms, while the Fibernet rest mat ensures optimal ventilation around the body unit. A composite fiber mesh carcass relieves stress on the hammock frame. Included features are a liquid ration dispenser, 3D visor with hand controls, and a sanitation/purification adapter, enabling extended stays within an actively accelerating vehicle for up to a week. The model adheres to mobile command bridge standards and is available in two versions: Mental Ray with Arch & Design and Scanline with standard Max materials. A mannequin is included, and the unsubdivided hammock's poly count is provided. The hammock animation features bracelet unlocking and a skinned visor cable. Textures are power of two, suitable for real-time graphics, and use standard Max materials. It is rendered in Scanline mode, as seen in previews, with lense effects added in Photoshop. Layered PSD maps are included for customization purposes. The concept and design belong to the artist, along with a 3D Studio Max 9 file.
