Inertial cup holder

Hello to everyone! This project was designed after considering a universal cup holder for cars, trucks, boats, and more - something that can securely hold a can, bottle, or other item without spilling liquid onto the dashboard. The concept behind this design is inspired by the physical experiment of rotating a water cube over your head, where the g-force keeps the liquid flat (more or less) within the cube. Simple and straightforward: two-axis X and Y rotation is made possible with a suction cup that attaches to a universal GoPro connector. A simple skate bearing is required for smooth operation; I recommend using Loctite to secure it to the plastic frame. A standard plastic glass can serve as the container for the can, bottle, or other items. During testing on the road, excellent stability was achieved with no liquid spills.
