Detailed model of Indicar 2018 including road course configuration is available for download. Two body textures measuring 4096x4096 pixels, one driver texture measuring 1024x1024 pixels, and two tire textures measuring 1024x1024 pixels are layered together to create a realistic visual effect. The graphic design of each element can be easily modified by the user. Driver and fuel tank hole cap textures for both sides are also included. Two exhaust pipes are provided for two different engine versions. Wheels have been properly oriented with a local axis, allowing users to turn the front wheels or roll all four wheels. They also feature realistic camber and caster angles typical of that type of car. A red ring for soft tires is included in the PSD source file. Objects are linked to the main body for easy handling (except for OBJ format). Two versions are available in MAX format: one with Mental Ray settings and another with standard settings. A PDF file containing instructions is also included. Oval version and Road+Oval combo are available for purchase by clicking on the author's name. Previous versions of Indycar models can be accessed by visiting the same page. Images were rendered using a MentalRay light setup, except for those mentioned otherwise. Settings are included in the MAX format file. 3DS, FBX, and OBJ files require additional work to achieve optimal results, including material and reflection adjustments, mesh vertex welds, and mesh smoothing. Instructions can be found in the PDF help file. This model is a polygonal representation and may not import correctly into parametric CAD software. It is also not optimized for 3D printing. Textures are stored separately under the 'Textures' file. The rear wing update is available in a separate ZIP file, which should be unzipped and moved to the mesh file folder.
