Industrial Lamp - 3D printed
pinshape
Summary This industrial style lamp was designed for our laboratory in Milan with a unique twist. No one had created something similar in the community, so we decided to develop a large dimension lamp that is optimized for 3D printing: NO support required, easy to print, solid and functional. Our design broke away from traditional lamps by dividing the cup into two parts, creating a more interesting look with six screws and allowing us to generate the LampB file in "spiralize the outer contour" (light diffusion). This approach saves a significant amount of time when printing. To ensure safe hanging, you will need two steel bars with bolts. These are visible in the last picture (the red ones) and the pictures of the printed object. The diameter is 8 mm. Best regards! Print Settings Notes: * Print all parts on a large machine with a 400x400 area. NO SUPPORT required! * It's crucial to print all parts with a 0.8 Nozzle size and 0.4 Layer high for a solid object. * The Spiralized object can be made from transparent PLA (big nozzle anyway) but could also be created in PETG or similar transparent filaments. Post-Printing After printing, assemble the parts using parker screws or any other fastener to give it an "industrial look". Before printing, consider painting and applying an antique finish to the metallic parts. Use a simple electric wire and choose your preferred type of light.
