Industrial Lamp - 3D printed
thingiverse
We designed an industrial-style lamp for our Milan laboratory that stands out from anything else in the community. Since no one had created a similar design, we decided to push the boundaries with a large-scale lamp optimized specifically for 3D printing: it requires no supports, prints easily, and is both solid and functional. One of the biggest challenges was simplifying the traditional cup-shaped design that usually characterizes old lamps - but we succeeded by dividing it into two parts, secured together with six screws, which also allowed us to generate a LampB file that uses spiral contours for optimal light diffusion. This results in significant time savings when printing the lamp.\r\nPlease note that you'll need two steel bars, one of which features bolts, to hang the lamp safely from the ceiling - these are visible in the final picture and the images of the printed object, both with a diameter of 8 mm.\r\nBest regards.
