This development is designed for eggshells, to process and eliminate pathogens using temperature ranging up to 120°C. Due to the product's high calcium carbonate content, it's sensitive to calcination by contact with flames; hence, the equipment performs indirect drying in parallel flow. The uniformity is achieved through a continuous time in the drying tunnel, equipped with random elevators using blades. Drying times and volumes typically range from 7-10 minutes, with a feed batch size of around 50 kg on average. This value refers to the screw feeder since it's a constant process, allowing for drying volumes of up to 350 kg/hour.
