Introduction The Industrial Area HDRI brand offers a collection of high-dynamic range images showcasing industrialized environments with rugged textures. Typically, the scenes selected for this brand feature urban decay, degeneration, and abandonment, with varying lighting conditions ranging from natural exterior light to artificial indoor illumination. Description This 360/180-degree HDRI is ideal for creating physically accurate lightning effects in computer-generated work or panoramic purposes, including backplates and 360-degree compositions. For personal use, I utilize these HDRI's primarily for CG projects, focusing on lighting and reflection. However, these images can be used in a multitude of ways, and I encourage users to explore new and creative applications. Provided are high-quality tone-mapped 8-bit 18 megapixel JPEG backplates from multiple angles, available for use at your discretion. Camera Captured with a Canon EOS 60D using Magic Lantern's HDR-Bracketing Feature. Lens Shot through a Samyang 8mm lens. HDR-rig Utilizing a standard tripod and a DIY zero-parallax rig. Exposure Comprising a 2-EV 7-step exposure sequence. Format Includes OpenEXR 32-bit files, as well as JPEG images. Other HDR formats can be provided upon request, with OpenEXR chosen for its widespread popularity. Suitable for use in any 3D application supporting HDR-based lighting and reflections. Usage It may be unclear how these HDRI's are utilized, but they serve a variety of purposes in 3D formats to produce physically accurate lighting. The most common application is achieving lifelike light conditions in architectural renders, but they can also be used to breathe life into 3D scenes, elevating them from ordinary renders to hyperrealistic imagery. About HDRI: http://northlogicvfx.com/2013/10/30/about-hdr/ Regarding the use of HDRI in 3DS Max and VRay: http://northlogicvfx.com/2013/10/30/hdr-in-vray-and-3ds-max/ The backplates are left untouched, without cropping or straightening. I have chosen to leave this decision up to the buyer, allowing for maximum field of view. Though I have made every effort to remove artifacts, errors may still occur. If this is the case, I will provide an enhanced version free of charge to the buyer. My plan is to review each HDRI for potential issues and make adjustments as needed.
