Indus River Valley Civilization Stamp
thingiverse
Inspired by Josh Ajima's Pecha Kucha talk at Construct3d 2017, I was motivated to create something new in response to a spontaneous hackathon at Construct3D 2018; now zero things about Indus River Valley stamps will be overlooked. Zero Things is all about highlighting an underrepresented item on Thingiverse. If you search and can't find anything about it on Thingiverse, then you've stumbled upon a "zero things" example. Our topic was the Indus river valley civilization stamps/seals. We chose this because we learned about them in a world history class and were fascinated by what they meant and represented centuries ago. First, we found pictures of the stamps/seals on Google. Next, we used image processing software to trace the images and transferred them to 3D modeling software where we cleaned them up and formed them into actual stamps.
