I prefer to carry my spotting scope mounted on the tripod with the legs extended in a convenient position over my shoulder or by holding the tripod near the top where it balances securely either in my hand or supported by a strap. The challenge arises when the legs separate and drag along the ground, hindering mobility.\r\nThis useful accessory will keep the legs together while remaining easy to open them up when I pause to observe my surroundings.\r\nThis fits my Induro GTT204 tripod perfectly, and it may also work with other tripods whose center column and upper leg sections measure roughly 28.5mm in diameter.
