Inductrix FPV Pro lightweight frame
thingiverse
A minimalist framework for the inductrix FPV Pro that's incredibly lightweight. 6 mm motor mounts are used throughout. To minimize weight and maintain a low center of gravity, I opted for an elastic band to secure the battery instead of the original mount. This setup allows for more agile flight characteristics by keeping the battery close to the plane's center of mass. After using over ten batteries, I've encountered no issues with the battery shifting during flight. To safeguard the motor bases, a compact shield is designed that simply presses onto the motor base without any additional hardware. The thin stand used to secure the PCB to the frame was carefully crafted to save weight, but this comes at the cost of being unable to use the original mounting screws. To compensate, I cut a small piece of 0.5 mm metal rod from a standard coaxial resistor and heated one end until it melted into the base. Once the PCB and camera housing are installed, the rods can be bent outwards for secure attachment. The frame is optimized for printing without any supports.
