Inductor / Electronic Parts Storage Case
thingiverse
Another storage solution comes to life. A pack of 250 inductors in 25 common values was scored on eBay for a handful of dollars. The need for a storage case that allowed the bodies of the inductors to slide past each other became apparent. Larger drawers were also created, as well as a solid wall case. An E24 resistor case was designed, but it tipped backwards and caused a shower of parts - not in this design. 2mm walls were used for the case, while 1.5mm walls and floors were used for the drawers. This design would work well with other components too. A case with a blank front has been included, along with OpenSCAD files to customize the drawer label as needed.
