This modified blower will be super handy for those who've added an inductive sensor to their BQ Prusa i3. I found another one that wouldn't let the lower nut get inserted, so I fixed it by making the spot where the sensor goes a bit narrower. You should definitely print this part in ABS since it's right near the hotend, but I used PLA and everything is just fine. I bought my sensor from Amazon - a 3 wire Noncontact Inductive Proximity LJ12A3-4-Z model. Connection: Disconnect your Z Endstop and plug your sensor in like this: Brown: VCC (12V), Blue: GND, Black: (Signal) With a diode like a 1N4148/1N4140, plug the cathode of the diode to the black wire and the anode to the processor input. If you do it this way, you won't need a voltage divider and regulator like some people suggest - it's easier and works great. As for the firmware, uncomment ENABLE_AUTO_BED_LEVELING on Configuration.h and change the settings to match your setup. I hope you enjoy it! EDIT: Check out my new design that lets you have LED lights on top of the inductive sensor! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2348123 Print Settings Rafts: It Doesn't Matter
