Inductive Probe Mount for Phoenix

Inductive Probe Mount for Phoenix

Summary This is a mount for a Phoenix 3D on an extruder, designed specifically for use with an Inductive Probe Sensor. It's one of my early 3D designs, created when I was first getting into 3D printing, and it's imported from thingiverse. I made this using tinkercad - two versions are available to meet your needs. You have the option to position the inductive probe either closer or farther away from the extruder assembly. Printing Notes Print as you prefer (with support or without). A minimum of 40% infill is recommended, but less will work too. Insert the wiring for the probe through the opening before soldering and wrapping the connectors for the RAMBo board. Install the probe on its mount before attaching it to the extruder, but don't tighten the probe yet. Mount the probe's mount on either side (front) of the extruder motor using the same screw (just remove the washer). The bottom of the sensor should be approximately 1mm from the bed in relation to the extruder nozzle.
