This filament sensor is specifically designed to pair with the E3D Titan extruder, but it can also operate independently. I tested it using PETg and printed the parts with their flat sides facing down. Here's a breakdown of the required components: 1 x 7mm steel ball, 4 x M2.5 x 10mm countersunk screws, 2 x M3 x 15mm screws, 1 x M8 inductive sensor, and 2 lengths of PTFE tubing.
