The power transfer unit securely connects a motor to the container that holds the components undergoing heat treatment. During assembly, it exhibited some initial resistance but became smoother as the system continued to run. To prevent moisture intrusion into the casing, bolts should have been applied from below to secure the plates in place. This simple adjustment would have effectively sealed the housing against water ingress.
