The micro CT scan of an Indri Lemur skull originates from the D'Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum at the University of Dundee. The Indri Lemur, scientifically known as Indri indri and also referred to as Babakoto, is specimen number DUNUC 2289. A Nikon XT H 225ST micro CT scanner was utilized for scanning purposes, resulting in an STL file that was subsequently imported into Zbrush. In Zbrush, texture was added through the use of photographs, specifically with the Spotlight function and Polypainting techniques. We welcome feedback from anyone who downloads or prints our models, particularly if they are used in educational settings or outreach programs.
