A youngster showed up today looking to print an Indominus Rex, but finding no complete models I threw this together in the evening. Feel free to remix it as you see fit! I imagine it probably could benefit from additional spikes on its back and upper arms, textured skin, and the arms look a bit too cartoonish. Still, printing it small (cheaper, faster) means these fine details are easy to overlook anyway. UPDATE: rex4 (repaired).stl is an updated model that looks the same but I did a quick boolean union using Meshmixer to unite the mesh into one, and a repair pass with Netfabb. Hopefully this will resolve some of the printing issues people have experienced. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1mm layer height Infill: 10% Notes: Print at no smaller scale than 70mm tall if you want the teeth and spikes to come out correctly. Supports will be easier to remove from said parts the larger it is. How I Designed This Unfortunately, I'm not much of a sculptor, so I used the body of Carnivorous Rex by Benk 919, the velociraptor arms by jordanoconnor (http://www.123dapp.com/creature/velociraptor/3512710), and the indominus rex head by Aiden Guzman 260 (http://www.123dapp.com/creature/Indominus-Rex/4148791). I mashed them together using Meshmixer and Blender, thickening and refining various parts including adding a third finger.
