Individual Expo Marker Clip

Individual Expo Marker Clip

thingiverse

I discovered several useful Expo marker whiteboard mounts or trays on Thingiverse, but none of them met my requirement for individual clips. I appreciate the convenience of being able to position any particular marker on the board anywhere after use, especially during teaching sessions. These clips fit standard Expo markers perfectly and can be reused when the marker dries out. I utilized neodymium magnets measuring 6mm in diameter by 3mm in height. However, I've included the Fusion 360 file here so you can customize it to your preferred magnet size. The magnets fit snugly into the clip's hole, but I still recommend applying a drop or two of super glue into the hole before inserting the magnet for added security. I prefer using gel-like super glue for its ease of use and effectiveness. I also suggest printing at a fairly high resolution to ensure smoothness in the rounded-over corners and edges of the clip. The higher the resolution, the more refined the round-over will be. Fusion 360 File: https://a360.co/2P98F1Y
