Inspired by brunofporto's innovative indirect laser monitor design, I aimed to create a more straightforward and easy-to-assemble setup for testing and modifications. The use of readily available bearings was also a key consideration. I successfully achieved my goal of quick and simple assembly, with bearings that snap effortlessly into place. The board and casing are held securely by a single locating peg, which is fastened with a single screw. Designed in OpenSCAD, I have uploaded the SCAD file for anyone who wants to modify it. Please note that my OpenSCAD skills are still developing, so the design may appear somewhat rough around the edges. To improve performance, I added a small mount for easy attachment to my flying extruder. Initial testing has been promising, with consistent results achieved at a distance of 8-9mm between bearing surface and sensor. To further enhance accuracy, I lightly sanded the bearing being read by the sensor using 1000-grit sandpaper. To ensure smooth filament flow, I ran a 2mm drill bit through the filament path to remove any obstructions and prevent sideways movement. Required components include: * A 5x10x4mm bearing, such as an MR105 model * A 2.0mm drill bit for cleaning out the filament path
