Indicator Stand (uses 15 X 15 Extrusion)
thingiverse
This is a basic stand for a dial indicator or other measuring instrument. Everything has been designed with 15 X 15 extrusion in mind, but can easily be scaled up. To hold it firmly together using short pieces of 15 X 15 extrusion, I am relying solely on the pressure from bolts and friction. If you're working with longer pieces or a heavier indicator, however, you may need to adjust the pivot point accordingly. The pivots and tool mount feature captured nuts that provide precise adjustment pressure. The base relies on nuts or t-nuts to securely hold the vertical component in place. All hardware used is 3mm thick. Please ensure that the files are properly oriented for optimal printing results. I chose to use PETG, but I already had it loaded in my printer at the time.
