this part I designed for south bend 9 inch lathes with duckbill cross slide making use of the taper attachment points in the back of the saddle mine are 3/8 16 threads so i centered up some 1/2 t303 ground stock on the 4 jaw and threaded it to go into the lathe saddle and be tensioned with a backing nut then its just a simple carriage bolt /washer/nut + 2 melt in inserts and 2 cap head screws. recommend assembling and reaming the 3 bores with a spiral reamer the 2 bottom holes I reamed with an oversize reamer
