Classified as a sculpture, the piece is part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's collection, bequeathed by Hamilton Fish in 1894 with accession number 94.9.2. The work has been digitally captured and cleaned by Jonathan Monaghan using Autodesk 123D Catch during the Met MakerBot Hackathon in June 2012.
