The Design Spot at the Sacramento Public Library has just gotten its hands on a Makerbot Digitizer, and I'm excited to give it a whirl by scanning out an Indian Chief figure. My first crack at using this device resulted in some impressive results, but I decided to add a base to really tidy things up, which was accomplished with ease using FreeCAD.
