This is an earring that features the iconic shape of the Institute of American Indian Arts logo, reminiscent of a majestic bird in traditional American Indian style. I'd love it if you could print it in your preferred color choice - whether you opt for filament or resin, the result will be simply stunning. I came across this fascinating piece on the Wikipedia page dedicated to the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA), and I was immediately captivated by its unique design. The IAIA is a prestigious public tribal college located in the vibrant city of Santa Fe, New Mexico. As a leading institution for Native American art, it offers a rich cultural experience that showcases the beauty and diversity of indigenous expression. One of its crown jewels is the Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA), which calls the historic Santa Fe Federal Building home - a stunning Pueblo Revival landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum's collection boasts an impressive 7,000 items, making it a treasure trove for art enthusiasts and historians alike. As I delved deeper into the world of IAIA, I was inspired to bring this earring to life using my Ultimaker white PLA printer. With meticulous attention to detail, I set the layer height to 0.2mm and infill at 18%, ensuring a smooth finish that would do justice to the design. To add an extra touch of professionalism, I opted for a skirt and printed at a speed of 30mm/s using a 0.4mm nozzle and extruder temperature of 210 degrees Celsius. The result is a beautiful earring that not only captures the essence of American Indian art but also demonstrates my commitment to precision and quality. Sincerely, Raimon of IdeaLab
