Independence Day Bow Tie

Independence Day Bow Tie

thingiverse

This is a 3D printed bowtie that's been cleverly segmented. Its design allows each part to be joined by string and flex, making it easy to print in different colors. Check out how I assembled this amazing accessory here: https://youtu.be/WKoOM_OGp5c Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Maker Select Rafts: None at all Supports: Absolutely necessary for a perfect finish Resolution: Set to 0.2mm for exceptional detail Infill: Opt for 20-30% for the best results Notes: Most pieces don't need support if printed with the flat side facing down, but I highly recommend adding supports to the innermost segment of the bow part. Post-Printing: First, glue the center sections together. Next, thread each lobe to it one at a time using fishing line or stretchy jewelry string. Finally, glue the clip in place if you want to wear this stylish accessory as a bowtie, or leave it off and use it for something else entirely.
