Incubator with Circulating Air / Brutschrank Umluft
thingiverse
Hello World! I proudly unveil my circulating air incubator, a revolutionary tool that's sure to capture your attention! The "base" model comes equipped with two slots and a spacious interior measuring 124x124x84mm, but don't worry, it can be expanded up to four slots and 124x124x168mm - the perfect fit for any experiment! Each slot is designed to hold two petri dishes or you can simply insert the lower tray and get creative with test-tubes. The temperature control feature lets you adjust in 1°C increments, giving you precision like never before. To build this masterpiece, you'll need the following additional parts: * Metal plate measuring 120x120x1mm * Digital Thermostat: grab one from Amazon - http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00H3ZN3IQ * Power Supply: get yours today at - http://www.amazon.de/dp/B0089LFGIS * DC Connector: pick it up here - http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00CI6IOCA * Power Switch: easy peasy - http://www.amazon.de/dp/B00KGZBJFO * Heater: heat things up with - http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B004W7H2YO * Radial fan: bring in some air power at - http://www.amazon.de/dp/B00BJMWKGU * PWM Module (optional, but recommended for speed control): snag one from Amazon - http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00CWSO2IY * Some M4x16 screws and nuts to keep everything in place * Glue to hold it all together * Soldering iron and wires to get those electrical connections right Now, you don't have to buy from Amazon, but I think it's the easiest way to show you which parts work. Get building! Next up: Instructions! I've labeled my parts with _abs and _pla suffixes. The _abs parts should be printed with ABS or a similar filament that won't melt as easily as PLA does. You can print all the parts, though - just be aware that the ones with _abs might get warm depending on your thermostat setting! Here are the essentials: 1. 1_groundplate_pla 2. 2_backplate_pla 3. 3_frontplate_abs 4. 4_midplate_abs 5. 5_heatplate_bottom_abs 6. 2x 6_slot_abs 7. 2x 7_tray_abs 8. 8_case_bottom_pla 9. 10_case_top_pla 10. 11_lid_abs 11. 14_top_lid_pla 12. 21_small_parts (which includes: * 12_fan_lid_abs * 13_fan_holder_abs * 15_door_hinge_pla * 16_door_knob_abs * 20_door_latch_pla) If you want a 2-slot version with an inner height of 84mm, you'll need: 13. 17_door_for_2_trays_abs For the 3-slot version at 126mm height, grab: 14. 18_door_for_3_trrays_abs And for the ultimate 4-slot setup at 168mm height: 15. 19_door_for_4_trays_abs
