I designed an in-soil sprinkler that I tested, but the pump I used didn't deliver enough power to shoot water from the holes. However, I believe it could work perfectly with a different pump. The top of the sprinkler fits into an 8mm pipe. This design was created as part of a project I worked on for self-watering plants using a Raspberry Pi. My other sprinkler design is also available if this one doesn't meet your needs. Good luck, and please let me know how you get along.
