This custom-designed cell is used for my comprehensive study on the brittleness of certain solid materials, such as copper, under liquid metal conditions like tin. It features an adjustable temperature resistance heater at the top and a water cooling system at the bottom. A tensile test specimen is also incorporated in the setup.
