Calibration Tool: A Handy Gadget for Fine-Tuning Your Z Height While Printing Objects. Simply Place This on the Bed in Your Slicer First, Then Add Your Other Print Jobs. When You Start Printing, This Should Print First, Giving You a Chance to Adjust Your Live Z Height Before Your Objects Begin to Take Shape (Works Like a Charm with Prusa Slicer). Start the Print and Dive Right into Your Live Z Height Adjustment. As the Test Line Prints Out, Feel Its Height with Your Finger and Make Any Necessary Adjustments. You've Got Three Lines to Get It Just Right, and I Can Tell You from Experience That's More Than Enough Time. I've Found This Method to Be a Game-Changer for Achieving Perfect First Layers, Especially When Initial Z Height Calibration Before Printing Doesn't Quite Cut It Due to Temperature Errors or Other Factors. I've Yet to Encounter a Bad First Layer Since Coming Up with This Clever Idea! The Lines Are 0.4 x 0.4mm at 5mm Spacing, So You Won't Be Hogging Any Valuable Bed Real Estate. Plus, It's Designed to Print Two Layers (with 0.2mm Layer Height), Making It Easier to Remove After the Print Finishes – Especially Important for Textured Sheets and Filaments Where the First Layer Height Was Originally Too Low, Leaving a Thin Smear of Plastic Behind. The Second Layer Should Bond to It Nicely, Removing All Remaining Filament When You Take It Off the Bed. I Hope This Helps You Out. Happy Printing, and Here's to Many More Perfect First Layers!
