The Romanian Uprising was a time of intense civil upheaval in Romania during December 1989 and part of the Revolutions of 1989 that shook several countries. Wikipedia lists it as occurring from December 16 to December 25, 1989. The outcome was the overthrow of the communist government in Romania and the capture and execution of Nicolae and Elena Ceaușescu. A total of 3,352 people were injured during this period.
